The Colorado Tap Connection is an initiative to unite organizations in the Colorado area who support the art of tap dancing. Through events and classes, these organizations work together to bring tap dance to the public!

Fall Tap Jam
with live music from Thunderboogie
Join Colorado Tap Connection for a tap dance jam featuring live music from Thunderboogie! Enjoy this hour-long class filled with guided improvisation prompts designed for all ages, levels, and experience backgrounds, and let loose and jam with the community. No experience necessary—just bring your shoes and your willingness to play!
When: Sunday November 15th from 1-2pm
Where: Stage Images Dance Studio
Cost: $20 participation fee, $10 observation fee
All proceeds benefit the CTC 2027 National Tap Dance Day Event!

Past CTC Events
National Tap Dance Day Event, 2025
CTC hosted our first event in celebration of National Tap Dance Day in May 2025. Produced by Rocky Mountain Rhythm and Common Ground, this event featured free tap classes in various styles, a free tap jam with live music, and a free performance featuring tap dance companies in Colorado. We were honored to be joined by Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema to screen a handful of tap dance films to round out the celebration. This event was generously hosted by Peak Academy of Dance.
